This year's
PTA Committee invite you to join in and play your part . . .
. . .
you'll get a warm welcome at any time. |

The
PTA has been revitalised over the past twelve months into a new and
vibrant body that wants to play a vital role in the business of the
school. All parents of children on roll are automatically members, and so
you are invited to be a part of something which serves only one purpose -
to benefit the children in our care. |

| All
sorts of things happen regularly to enliven our school - Christmas and
Summer Fairs and Christmas and Easter draws to name but a few. Every
Friday morning there is a "Friday at Ford" coffee morning, to which you
are all welcome. These regular meetings provide parents with a forum in
which thoughts, ideas and questions are raised in a friendly, supportive
atmosphere, assisted by the school's
Parent Support Adviser. |

Members of the PTA support the school's fundraising activities, where
different charities are selected each term and £100s are raised each year
for worthwhile causes. Funds raised specifically for the school by the PTA
provide equipment and extra-curricular events which the school otherwise
wouldn't be able to put on. We are
all grateful for the hard work of all the regular members, but we need
more people to get involved. Why not contact one of the elected officers
today to find out how you can become an active member ! |
